My Services (and Philosophy)

The Problems

Typically my clients have the following problems:

-  How to get their work noticed in a crowded market place?

-  How to market effectively with limited time and resources?

-  How to make it clear that their work is truly, uniquely, different from everything else out there?

-  Convincing people they work with (fellow artists, staff, etc.) to make necessary changes to their marketing.

The Solutions (My Services)

Individual Coaching:  Together, we will identify your key marketing challenges, figure out the root causes of those challenges and come up with specific, tangible, steps to solve it.

Typically a coaching session lasts for about a month.  We can met in person, or over the phone.

Coaching works best for people who want to really think through their challenges in a safe environment.  My job is to ask the questions, listen to the answers and help you sort those answers into a workable plan.

Your job is to take the plan and put it into action.

Workshops:  If you work within an organization, you need a lot of "buy in" to achieve effective, engaging marketing.  The workshops are designed to give everyone in the room an understanding of what effective marketing looks like and how the talents of everyone in the room can be leveraged to make the organization better.

Workshops can last be as short as a half day, or can last over several days, depending on what you need.

Presentations:  I've done speeches on arts marketing for a wide variety of organizations.  I do my best to make them engaging, entertaining and informative.  I hate bad presentations.  I loathe bad presenters.  If you hire me to speak, you'll get your money's worth.

My Philosophy

I believe that marketing is a vital tool for connecting art and audience.

I believe that marketing is more then a newspaper ad, or a Facebook page, it's about telling the world what you stand for, making a promise to them . . . and keeping your promise.

I believe in working fast.

I believe in results for my clients.  Financial results.  If you work with me, you should sell more art/tickets/memberships once we are done.

I believe good marketing is fun.  Fun for you to design and execute.  Fun for other to witness and participate in.

I believe bad marketing should be a crime.

I believe the world needs more art.  Do they need your art?  That's up to them.  My job is to give you the best shot at success.
