It isn't about "what to do?"
You can figure that out.
Seriously, almost any challenge related to the business of arts has a couple of solutions you could try.
Most people don't struggle because they don't know what to do.
They struggle because they don't want to do it.
Maybe they is a Board member.
Maybe they is an Artistic Director.
Maybe they . . . is you.
That's why one of the most underappreciated skills to running an organization is the ability to persuade others.
People need to be convinced.
Once you make your case for change in a persuasive manner change is pretty easy.
If you can't make that case, change is impossible.
