It's been all over the news: social media and networking sites are where it's at. But which networking site is right for you and how do you get started? For answers join us for a hands-on social media workshop, let by Adam Thurman, and the Digital Youth Network.
Get advice on what social media site works best for you, keys to building your audience or simply how to stay in touch with friends. Adam Thurman will give you the lowdown on the benefits and best practices of social networking. Then students and instructors from the Digital Youth Network will walk you through setting up your own Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, or blog page. They can also help you with tools and tricks to get the most out of your social media experience.
